The successful candidate will combine strong analytical thinking, technical curiosity, and a desire to grow their expertise in electrochemistry, data analytics, and factory-scale process control.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Analyze electrochemical test data and large time-series datasets to identify trends, investigate anomalies, and support engineering decisions related to product performance and process control.
- Develop dashboards and data visualization tools connecting electrochemical testing results with quality and manufacturing data to improve visibility into process performance and product quality.
- Support the adaptation, documentation, and deployment of analytical and validation test methods from existing Form Energy sites for implementation at Form Factory 1.
- Create and maintain clear work instructions, training materials, and method documentation to promote consistent test execution across technicians, engineers, and sites.
- Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective-action activities by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting analytical and process data.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to evaluate and improve test methods, data analysis workflows, and reporting tools.
- Contribute to the development of automated data analysis and reporting solutions that improve efficiency and accelerate engineering insights.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 1 to 3 years of experience supporting engineering, quality, or laboratory operations.
- Experience analyzing experimental, manufacturing, or time-series datasets to identify trends and draw technical conclusions.
- Exposure to statistical methods including hypothesis testing, statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), or measurement system analysis (MSA).
- Experience writing technical reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), test methods, or training documentation.
- Basic programming or scripting experience in Python, SQL, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar fields is a plus.
